BISHY ROAD
Bishy Road is a vibrant community of independent shops and businesses, just outside York’s city walls. Initially they needed two new leaflets – one to promote the area, and the second to promote their ‘Street Party’, which coincided with the Yorkshire leg of the Tour de France.
Since then Studio in the Attic has provided Bishy Road with leaflets, banners, signs and posters, for various events including their Xmas lights and street parties. We have designed the Bishy Road website, showcasing all the local traders (100 plus) which make up the BRTA (Bishy Road Traders Association). We have produced designs which give each business a page of its own, with individual passwords enabling businesses to update their own page.
The website also features a noticeboard – reflecting the actual noticeboard on the street and providing the community with news and events. We also produce the ‘Bishy Times’ – a four-page newsletter, containing local news and editorials, produced in the style of an old-fashioned newspaper, this is printed quarterly.
