INDIE YORK

To help promote York’s independent businesses a committee of small business owners, including Studio in the Attic, Councillor Johnny Hayes, Ambiente Tapas, I-finity and Cobnut Communications, set up ‘Indie York’ aiming to offer support and help to promote independent businesses across the city. We worked with illustrator Emily Hayes to create a printed map to help people navigate to Independents in York, and a website on which the independent businesses in the city can promote themselves. Studio in the Attic has been involved with the project from the initial concept, providing project management, designing the website and photographing the 100 members and their businesses.
